Artist's Comments

One of the things that interests me lately is the modern architectural designs of homes around the world. It's fascinating the innovations architects and interior designers are making to try to improve how we utilize space without harming our natural environment. Looking at modern homes has been inspiring me to think about what my dream home would look like.

how you been dood? We're about to move to canada. D:

I'm doing well. It's almost been a year since I graduated and found a comfy job as a graphic designer. 'Design' is eating up most of my time and it's hard trying to balance between that and the rest of my life. But hey, I can't complain, life's good.

Speaking of moving, I've been thinking of doing that too in the near future. What part of Canada are you two moving to? The only part of Canada I've been to is Vancouver. And all I do there is get fat. That's my spot for great Chinese food.

HOW'S IT GOING, FRIENDO?
:iconbatchix:
The job's for a company called Volta in Quebec City, Quebec. Long move, but it's mostly concept design and painting, so it's what D wants to do. They're still looking for more artists if you're interested. :3

I've been experimenting with composition lately... specifically, how to make things interesting without following any armatures or phi grids. Degas composed well while still seeming free of 'rules'. I see that in this piece... what was your inspiration or method of composition for this one, dude? It's way good. :)
